• •Shipped core components of Shopify's next-generation events platform, a typed webhooks system with field-level triggers, GraphQL payloads, query filters, and changed-field metadata, enabling app developers across the partner ecosystem to subscribe to granular state changes and build reactive integrations without resorting to polling.
• •Built a retry queue and retry path for the events pipeline to eliminate event loss on transient subscription-fetch and payload-generation failures, strengthening at-least-once delivery guarantees across Flink pipelines, Kafka sinks, and dead-letter queues with bounded backoff and replay support.
• •Hardened platform operations by running staging gamedays with fault-injection scenarios and instrumenting success-rate SLIs, end-to-end lag metrics, cache invalidation, and adaptive throttling to improve observability and resilience under load ahead of the May 2026 developer preview.
